Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy. This role will cover the following classrooms:

• Toddler
• Twos

• Have a positive and reliable work ethic.
• Be able to work full‑time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday) and be flexible with scheduling.
• Have a passion for working with young children.
• Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Meets state department guidelines and qualifies for position requirements.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Has physical abilities to perform required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, staff, and to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
