We’re looking for Assistant Teachers to join our team at Ten Mile Academy. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, caring, and excited to support young learners in a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment.

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll work closely with Lead Teachers to help create meaningful learning experiences and support children as they grow and develop.

Monday–Friday

8:30 am – 5:30 pm

3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

No nights. No weekends.

$14–$17 per hour, based on education and experience

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities
• Help implement activities that support children's emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Take direction, accept feedback, and continuously grow in your role
• Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
• CDA or higher is a plus
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑first mindset
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
