We are on the hunt for a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Billing Clerk to join our thriving professional services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where you can utilize your billing expertise to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and processing bills, preparing journal entries of adjustment of billings, and communicating with customers regarding billing adjustments.

This role requires 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Billing Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Efficiently processing and managing all bills and invoices related to our mortgage services.
2. Preparing journal entries of adjustment of billings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3. Communicating effectively with customers regarding any billing adjustments, inquiries, or disputes, providing excellent customer service at all times.
4. Reconciling entries and maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing records.
5. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure all billing activities align with the overall financial strategy.
6. Identifying and implementing improvements to the billing process to increase efficiency and accuracy.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to billing and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, preferably within the legal or accounting industries.
2. Proven experience in processing bills, billing for professional services, preparing journal entries of adjustment of billings, and communicating with customers regarding billing adjustments.
3. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both customers and internal teams.
5. Proficiency in using billing software and other relevant computer applications.
6. A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
7. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A customer-centric approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service at all times.
9. The ability to identify and implement improvements to the billing process.
