Senior Financial Accountant

C-M Restaurant Group is a growing, multi-state restaurant organization with over 300 employees, seeking a Corporate Senior Financial Accountant to support corporate-level accounting and financial operations. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate, timely financial information across the organization.

In addition to strong technical accounting skills, we are looking for a forward-thinking mindset who is interested in automation, process improvement, and scalable accounting systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable identifying inefficiencies, helping modernize workflows, and supporting the continued growth of the organization through improved financial processes and controls.

• Process the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting; submitting package to controller monthly.
• Prepare budgets and weekly reports
• Prepare routing supporting schedules for the balance sheet
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax
• Automation implementation – continue to improve systems and streamline processes with Controller/management team
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a financial role of preparing the entire financial package with supporting schedules.
• Strong software skills including Excel, MS Office, Payroll software, etc.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry preferred.
