Responsibilities
  • Manage, motivate, coach and support branch team members; achieve team goals and growth objectives related to member growth and retention, branch deposits, loans, and product/service solutions.
  • Ensure members are greeted and provided WOW service promptly and professionally.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel in the facility to meet organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth goals.
  • Supervise daily branch operations, communicate with the Regional Manager, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Train, direct, and proactively manage all branch personnel; conduct interviews and hiring practices according to company standards.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance and deliver the brand through service, appearance, and branch look and feel.
  • Assist members and potential members with their financial needs: explain services, set up new accounts, respond to problems, assist with loan applications, and process loan disbursements.
  • Match Credit Union services and products to members’ needs and proactively seek new business through community events.
  • Offer and explain electronic and video services for member convenience; be proficient with electronic channels (home banking, mobile banking, my Pioneer Personal Assistant).
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash advances; verify signatures, amounts, and account balances; balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
  • Complete on‑spot coaching with each team member; meet regularly to discuss performance and development; ensure a relationship‑driven culture.
  • Monitor quality and quantity of work; manage opening and closing of the building, cash ordering, security equipment testing, track progress, perform performance appraisals, and implement disciplinary actions with the Regional Manager and HR.
  • Utilize communication methods to assist and resolve member and team member situations; demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Network within communities to find and attract new business; work with sales staff to achieve pre‑determined sales goals and proactively coach staff around sales objectives.
  • Receive and process member transactions; balance daily transactions; manage cash recycler inventory; welcome members, provide routine information, and help team members.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of similar or related experience.
  • High school education or GED.
  • Significant level of trust and diplomacy; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong public relations skills and knowledge of Credit Union services and products.
  • Organizational skills to ensure proper recording and dissemination of required information.
  • Efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in communication.
  • Very light physical effort; typical office job; includes constant standing.
