Overview
Our Nuclear Projects group is a Tier 1 provider to the U.S. Department of Energy, delivering safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering and construction.
We are looking to add a Site Infrastructure & Security Specialist to our growing team with our project located in Scoville, multifaceted position combines property management and security oversight to support large-scale government and industrial projects. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient management of government property and supporting project-specific security operations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesProperty Management (50% of time)
Maintain accurate records for all government property, including sensitive assets
Track receipt, issuance, inventory, and lifecycle management of equipment and materials
Prepare government property transfer and disposal forms (SF 120/SF 122)
Coordinate with Contract Managers and FMP
Manage subcontractor property use and ensure marking of newly acquired assets
Develop and oversee implementation of Property Management Plans and perform periodic audits
Security Support (50% of time)
Assist in preparing Site Security Plans (SSP) and support compliance with DOE/Naval Reactors security policies
Conduct walkthroughs, incident investigations, and manage IOSC reporting
Ensure SETA training compliance and maintain all security-related documentation
Work closely with IT/Cybersecurity teams to manage secure assets and support internal and client audits
Act as liaison for security clearance processes and control subcontractor access
High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in construction and/or engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of government security policies
Experience with property management and End of Life equipment
Current OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
Familiarity with NQA-1 standards and government contract compliance
Strong organizational and communication skills across multiple disciplines
Prior Security or Police Officer experience is preferred
Knowledge of NN-801 and NIST Standards is preferred
Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, lift (up to 20 lbs), and walk uneven terrain
Exposure to field equipment, dust, noise, varying temperatures (-40F to 100F), and potential hazards
Travel to construction job sites and secure facilities
Regular attendance mandatory (100%)
