Role Description This full-time, on-site Housekeeper role is based at a My Place hotel in Meridian, Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities. Daily tasks also include handling laundry, organizing supplies and carts, and following brand standards and safety procedures. The role interacts with guests and team members to respond to requests, support a welcoming environment, and report maintenance or safety issues.
Housekeepers may also assist with training new team members and supporting other housekeeping or front desk needs as required.
Qualifications
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail to maintain cleanliness standards and manage supplies efficiently.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Experience with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Ability to support training of new housekeeping staff and follow established procedures and checklists.
- Reliability to work a consistent full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods; follow safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
