Qualifications & Skills
  • Superior Language Skills – Verbal and Written (bi‑lingual is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work affectively in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel, and industry related software.
  • Conduct Research using Internet Tools and Computerized Database Management System.

  • Ability to stay on task when interrupted by phone calls, customers, etc.
  • Familiarity with court filing systems or legal document preparation is preferred but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position will report directly to the NAFCO Managers and assist with all aspects of NAFCO. This includes loan servicing, communicating with Borrowers, Insurance Producers, Court professionals, and Dealership Personnel. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support such as data entry, document scanning, cash handling, and will support the preparation and filing of small claims cases. The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling legal paperwork and communicating with clients in a collection setting.

The ideal candidate will also need to acquire specific knowledge and understanding of NAFCO’s practices and policies, the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and regulations promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and other regulatory agencies as applicable to NAFCO operations. Communications will include verbal via telephone and face‑to‑face, and written communications in both electronic and hard copy form.
