Material Handler
The Material Handler maintains an organized and efficient stockroom. This role involves pulling and issuing parts for production using a scanner, completing various system transactions on a computer, and validating system and document data against physical material counts to identify any discrepancies. The position requires operation of various material-handling equipment including ESD workstations, electronic scales, counting equipment, bag sealers, and pallet jacks.
The Material Handler also uses skids, pallets, and carts to complete work tasks and employs a variety of packaging and handling methods to protect materials from damage.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom.
- Pull and issue parts for production using a scanner.
- Complete various system transactions on a computer.
- Validate system and document data against physical material counts.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in material counts.
- Operate various material-handling equipment such as ESD workstations and pallet jacks.
- Use skids, pallets, and carts to complete tasks.
- Employ various packaging and handling methods to prevent material damage.
- Work closely with others and communicate effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, picking, and packing.
- Ability to cross-train within different departments in the warehouse.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and beginner-level Excel.
- Experience with material handling and RF scanners.
- Proficiency in packaging techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management.
- Knowledge of RF scanner operations.

Work Environment
Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and closed-toed shoes, ensuring comfort and safety in a clean and organized work setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
