Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team. As a Production Assistant, you will be part of the Production department supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a focus on quality that helps keep production running smoothly.
Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Meridian,
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm
What's the Job?- Assist with production, assembly, and manufacturing tasks using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Support quality control by performing checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Help with packaging and labeling of products for shipment to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste materials.
- Contribute to inventory management by counting, sorting, and organizing parts and materials.
- Able to read assembly blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Able to use precision equipment such as calipers and measuring instruments.
- Competent with power hand tools and able to clean and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Ability to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Work in a manufacturing environment where teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement matter.

- Hands-on experience assisting with production tasks and shop stewardship.
