Join a leading Women's Services healthcare team in a modern, high-volume hospital serving the Boise metropolitan area. This nursing job offers the chance to work in one of Idaho's most family-friendly communities, known for excellent schools, welcoming neighborhoods, and easy access to outdoor recreation.

• Location: Meridian, Idaho (Zip: 83642) – Idaho nursing jobs
• Setting: Acute Care – Women's Services, Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/18/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Unit Details: 10 L&D beds, 2 OR suites for C-sections, 4 triage beds, 10 postpartum beds
• Average Monthly Births: Approximately 120
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrubs: Blue scrubs provided

• Active RN license (Idaho or compact state) – Registered Nurse jobs Idaho
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Experience in postpartum and circulating required; triage experience strongly preferred
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE (completed at least once), AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Proficient in titrating drips (Pitocin, magnesium, insulin as needed)
• Willingness to float to similar L&D units in Boise, Nampa, and Meridian area

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Circulate in operating rooms for C-section deliveries
• Perform triage assessments and manage stable antepartum patients
• Monitor and titrate medications per clinical protocols
• Collaborate with OB hospitalists, midwives, neonatal nurse practitioners, and CRNAs
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to similar Labor & Delivery units within Treasure Valley as needed
