Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:

Required Skills/
Experience:
Must have cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience.
Preferred Skills/
Experience:
TR bands and Fem stops experience preferred.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. The facility may make one-off exceptions for previous employees, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.
Unit Details:
Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post-cath lab patients; will not pull sheaths. RNs are not required to titrate drips. Common drips include set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone; no epinephrine or nitroglycerin on this floor. RNs read and interpret telemetry and document every 6 hours. Uses Epic and Space Lab monitors;
transitioning to Philips. Tele techs are on the floor until June, then will centralize off site. CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow are used on the unit; RT manages them.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. No call.
Floating Requirements:
First to float. Will float to like units and Med/Surg also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
