Certified Nursing Assistant

St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Intensive Care Unit team. This is a part-time night-shift position working two 12-hour shifts per week. The Meridian ICU provides care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical needs. In this role, you will work alongside nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

What you can expect:

• Part-time night-shift position working two 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift differential pay for nights and weekends
• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, mobility, repositioning, hygiene, and other essential patient care needs
• Assist with obtaining vital signs, monitoring intake and output, and promptly communicating changes in a patient's condition to the nursing team
• Care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Work closely with nurses and an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Strengthen your clinical skills and gain valuable experience caring for high-acuity patients
• Eligibility to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Licenses and certifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute
