Quality Control Technician

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. (a unit of Marmon Holdings, Berkshire Hathaway) is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to inspect and ensure the quality of monuments.

• Inspect outsourced monuments for engraving accuracy, dimensions, finish quality, and structural integrity.
• Review proofs and verify all artwork, lettering, and dates.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Identify and correct production issues.
• Train and support production staff on quality standards.
• Handle quality‑related customer concerns.
• Document and develop monument design standards.
• Audit monument design and maintain performance KPIs.
• Work with the design and sales team as needed.
• Participate and lead problem‑solving efforts related to monument quality.

• 2+ years’ experience in monument operations, design, stone fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of granite design, finishing and engraving processes preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
