Counter Sales Associate

Overview

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Counter Sales Associate who acts as the primary point of contact for retail and wholesale customers. This role is responsible for determining customer needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining store image, and ensuring customers receive a positive experience.

• Build good relationships with NAPA customers.
• Greet customers and assess their needs quickly.
• Secure correct parts and resolve issues for customers.
• Maintain appearance of the store and product displays.
• Assist in receiving and stocking incoming merchandise.

• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred.
• GED preferred.
• Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; able to multi-task; self-motivated.

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Capable of moving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Valid Driver’s License required for some locations based on store needs.
