Role DescriptionAdvertising & Brand Partnerships Manager (Commission-Based, Field Sales)
This is a full-time, commission-based, field sales role based in the Meridian, Idaho area. The Advertising & Brand Partnerships Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of print and digital advertising, sponsored content, and brand partnership packages across the platform.
This is an outside sales role. Most time is spent prospecting, meeting with business owners and marketing leaders, and closing deals in the field. The role is not desk-based but does require being local to the Meridian/Treasure Valley area and attending periodic in-person meetings and strategy sessions with the team.
Responsibilities- Prospecting and developing new advertiser and sponsor relationships
- Selling print ads, digital ads, sponsored features, and integrated brand packages
- Building and managing an active outbound sales pipeline
- Scheduling and conducting in-person and virtual sales meetings
- Presenting media kits, audience data, and partnership packages
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms
- Closing new advertising contracts and renewal agreements
- Coordinating with editorial and creative teams on partner deliverables
- Tracking outreach, proposals, and closed deals
- Meeting monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Compensation is commission-based with uncapped earning potential tied directly to closed revenue.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or advertising sales
- Strong outbound prospecting and closing skills
- Comfortable with in-person meetings and territory-based selling
- Self-directed and performance-driven
- Excellent communication and negotiation ability
- Strong follow-up and pipeline management discipline
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a core team
- Experience selling media, advertising, sponsor ships, or marketing services preferred
- Familiarity with print and digital advertising is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant sales success
