About the RoleAs a Field Service Technician, you are the face of Greyloch in the field.
When homeowners, builders, and installers need support, you're the person who shows up, solves problems, and ensures every project reflects the quality and craftsmanship Greyloch is known for.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, communicates effectively, and thrives working independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.
You’ll be responsible for evaluating service issues, performing repairs and adjustments, coordinating warranty work, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. Your ability to combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service will directly impact customer satisfaction and Greyloch's reputation for excellence.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose and differentiate between manufacturing defects, installation concerns, and job‑site damage.
- Complete warranty repairs, service calls, and punch‑list items with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, installers, and internal team members.
- Schedule and manage service appointments while maintaining accurate calendar updates.
- Utilize email, phone, and project management software to document and track service activities.
- Deliver replacement parts and punch‑list materials to job sites as needed.
- Prepare service quotes and submit documentation for billing and warranty tracking.
- Maintain detailed records of completed work and service outcomes.
- Meet deadlines and communicate progress proactively.
- Represent Greyloch professionally through appearance, conduct, and customer interactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced finish carpentry experience.
- Advanced cabinet installation experience.
- Experience with paint and stain touch‑ups and repairs.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through email.
- Proficiency with mobile technology and software applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working in residential construction environments.
- Previous warranty or field service experience.
- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and installation processes.
