Overview

Master is looking for Excavation Technicians safely and skillfully operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of projects, including locating and repairing broken water and sewer lines, installation of new septic systems, and many other types of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • site preparation, trenching, and back filling on excavation jobs
  • Hand dig in areas with limited machine access as needed
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Spot and guide equipment operators to maintain jobsite safety
  • Clean and maintain tools, trailers, and equipment after use
  • Follow all safety protocols, signage requirements, and dig regulations
  • Support plumbers and operators with pipe placement, measurements, and inspections
  • Attend required training and jobsite safety meetings
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months excavation or general labor experience
  • CDL needed but willing to help with meeting this requirement within a 6 month timeframe
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work outdoors, and handle physical labor daily
  • Comfortable working in trenches, crawlspaces, and around heavy equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
