Trailer​/SRI Repair Specialist

U-Haul is looking for skilled technicians to maintain our fleet of trailers and Ford/GMC trucks. Whether you’re new to the industry or have experience, we offer training and a supportive environment.

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance, and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Assist in additional areas as directed by a supervisor.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Moderate risks or discomforts such as moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear may be required.

Requires lifting up to 50 lbs (assisted or unassisted) and periods of standing or stationary work both indoors and outdoors.
