We're looking for an experienced Plumbing Lead Installer who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead from the front, and can ensure every installation is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll work alongside your crew while taking ownership of the installation, job quality, productivity, and overall customer experience.

What You'll GetCompensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour (training pay)
- Estimated annual base pay: $62,400 – $93,600+, based on a 40-hour workweek

Starting pay within the posted range is based on plumbing experience, licensing, technical ability, leadership experience, and other job-related qualifications.

This is more than completing plumbing installations—you'll be responsible for leading the crew, owning the job, and making sure the installation is completed correctly from start to finish.
You will:
- Lead residential plumbing installation projects
- Work hands-on alongside installers and apprentices
- Direct the crew and assign daily responsibilities
- Ensure installations meet plumbing codes and company quality standards
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make decisions in the field
- Maintain jobsite safety, productivity, and organization
- Deliver a professional customer experience
Installation & Technical Execution:
- Perform and lead residential plumbing installations
- Install and connect water, drain, waste, vent, gas, and related plumbing systems
- Install piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment
- Read and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, specifications, and job requirements
- Determine proper pipe routing, elevations, and fixture locations
- Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, drainage problems, and installation deficiencies
- Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
Crew Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate installers and apprentices in the field
- Assign daily tasks and clearly communicate job expectations
- Provide hands-on training, coaching, and technical guidance
- Set the pace for productivity, workmanship, professionalism, and safety
- Inspect completed work and provide quality-control oversight
- Help develop apprentices and less-experienced installers
Customer
Experience:
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation
- Explain completed work and system operation when needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience from arrival through job completion
Performance & Accountability:
- Take ownership of job quality, productivity, and completion
- Ensure installations are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Coordinate materials and verify required equipment and supplies are available
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials, labor, and project progress
- Identify jobsite challenges early and communicate needs to plumbing leadership
