Role Description

The Water Damage Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Meridian,  position is responsible for responding to water-related emergencies, assessing damage, and implementing restoration plans, including water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and cleanup. Day-to-day tasks include setting up, operating, and monitoring restoration equipment; documenting site conditions with notes and photos; and following safety and regulatory guidelines for handling water and affected materials.

The technician will communicate clearly with customers and team members, explain work being performed, and maintain a professional presence on job sites. This role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support emergency services and timely project completion.

Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on skills in Water Damage restoration and basic understanding of Water Treatment processes.
  • Experience with Equipment Maintenance related to pumps, dehumidifiers, air movers, and other restoration tools.
  • Knowledge of Water Damage and Wastewater Treatment best practices, including safe handling and disposal of contaminated materials.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and supervisors.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working in confined or wet spaces.
  • Attention to detail in documentation, job-site cleanliness, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred.
  • Previous experience in restoration, construction, or related trades is beneficial; industry certifications (e.g., IICRC) are a plus.
  • Willingness to work variable hours, respond to emergency calls, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
