Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver – Box Truck (Boise, Meridian). Pay $22.00/hr shift:
Saturday 5:30–11:00, Sunday 5:30–15:00. Heavy lifting required. Saturday and Sunday hours receive a $1/hour shift differential. Must hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or be able to obtain one.

What you will be doing as a Med Speed Box Truck Medical Driver
  • Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, sterile processing instrumentation, healthcare linens and related materials.
  • Drive a non‑CDL commercial motor vehicle (i.e., straight truck) throughout shifts on varying roads and weather.
  • Operate a handheld scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
  • Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
  • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
  • Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
  • Conduct pre‑/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
  • Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.
What you need to become a Med Speed Medical Driver
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Has or can obtain an appropriate class driver’s license.
  • Has or can successfully complete a company‑administered road test.
  • Will furnish documents required for a Driver Qualification (DQ) file.
  • Must have an excellent driving history.
  • Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
  • Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
  • Ability to follow procedures closely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift items off storage racks.
  • Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
  • Must be comfortable walking and standing for long periods.
DOT non‑CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Driver Requirements
  • Ability to pass an initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification.
  • Must be 21 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
  • Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse.
  • Can safely operate the specified non‑CDL CMV based on experience or training.
