Location:
Meridian, Idaho
- Thursday to Sunday, 9:30am to 8:00pm. (4x10 shift)
Pay:
Starting at $22.00/hour, plus up to an additional $3.75/hour for shift and bilingual differentials, along with quarterly safety and other incentive opportunities.

As a Roadside Battery Technician for AAA Oregon/Idaho, you'll operate a AAA-owned service truck throughout the Portland metro area, responding to roadside assistance requests from AAA members.
Your job is to provide exceptional service while helping members safely and efficiently resolve their roadside issues. Whether performing tire changes, fuel delivery, battery service, or minor mechanical repairs, you will be responsible for creating a safe environment for yourself, your teammates, and the members you serve.
Our focus is to keep members "On the Go" while ensuring every service call is completed thoroughly with professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety.

Key Skills and Requirements- 2+ years of driving experience with an excellent driving record required.
- Valid driver's license required. Position does not require a CDL.
- Successful completion of a criminal background screening, DMV background screening, employment verification, and pre-employment drug screen (including cannabis) required.
- Roadside Battery Technicians must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2+ years of customer service experience required.
- Automotive repair or technology experience preferred.
- Tow experience preferred. Excellent training program provided.
- Ability to balance, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to help others.
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm, professional, and safety-focused under pressure.
- English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus but not required (additional pay for bilingual skills).
