Role SummaryThe Administrative Assistant (Receptionist) serves as the front-desk point of contact, supporting smooth daily operations through accurate communication, organized records, and responsive administrative support.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls; welcome visitors and provide clear, professional assistance
- Address routine questions or concerns with discretion and route requests to the appropriate department
- Draft routine correspondence and prepare reports/forms as requested
- Maintain filing systems and ensure administrative records remain complete and up to date
- Coordinate meeting space, basic room set-ups, and light refreshments
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and assist with special or bulk mailings
Qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Two (2) years of college in business or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Professional, courteous, service-focused approach
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (onsite, full time). Administrative Assistant (Receptionist) candidates are encouraged to apply today.
You’ll open the front desk, review the day’s calendar, and prepare for scheduled visitors. Throughout the day, you balance phone traffic with walk-in requests, keeping information clear and documentation accurate. You’ll set aside focused time to update files, draft routine letters, and assemble forms or reports. Midday often includes coordinating details for internal meetings and ensuring materials are ready. Before close, you reconcile outstanding items, confirm follow-ups were routed correctly, and leave the reception area organized for the next business day.
