Central United Methodist Church in Meridian, MS is in need of a part-time choir director.
Job responsibilities include:
- Direct the choir every Sunday at 10:00 am
- Rehearse choir every Sunday at 9:00 am and Wednesdays at 5pm (flexible)
- Communicate with organist and pianist
- Select music appropriate for the season
- Prepare a short-term and long-term schedule and share with choir members
- Arrange for special soloists, assisting in choosing music if necessary
- Lead the congregation when singing hymns
