Rush Foundation Hospital is a 215‑bed facility founded in 1915 and part of Rush Health Systems, which includes seven hospitals and more than 50 specialty and primary care practices that serve the citizens of East Central Mississippi and West Alabama.
The hospital's Family Birth Center, one of the first of its kind in the state, features a recently renovated labor and delivery unit with 18 suites where new mothers can experience all phases of the birthing process in a single room. The Birth Center also offers midwifery services and houses a modern, spacious 12‑bed NICU.
The facility currently sees about 1,000 annual deliveries.
