Enrollment Specialist - Perkinston Campus

Job Description

This position will report directly to the Director of Enrollment Services Center. The incumbent is responsible for counseling and advising prospective and currently enrolled students. The incumbent is an integral part of and provides support for all functions of the Perkinston Campus.

• Assist students with enrollment services processes to include Financial Aid, admissions and registration.
• Counsel and advise students in matters related to their programs of study, both academic, health related and career/technical.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment with time flexibility for multi-tasking.
• Provide information services as it relates to the college offerings, university transfer information and career pathways.
• Provide advising guidance for dual credit and Collegiate Academy students as it relates to degree completion and transfer opportunities.
• Assist with coordination and facilitation of orientation programs.
• Assist with coordination of campus-wide student retention and recruitment efforts.
• Handle difficult situations with positive and professional composure at all times.
• Serve as an active member of appropriate campus and college committees as appointed.
