Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop individualized lesson plans, and prepare students for performances and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to support sales, rentals, and school service efforts, promoting music education in the community.

Ideal candidates have strong performance skills, prior teaching or coaching experience, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment that reflects our mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals and school programs
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, sales, and lesson enrollment
• Promote Music & Arts programs within local schools and the community
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and student records
• Care for and demonstrate instruments and accessories used in lessons
• Participate in training, meetings, and performance evaluations
