Advising And Recruitment Coordinator
The Advising and Recruitment Coordinator position provides support to the School of Health Professions by leading advising and student recruitment efforts and fostering a supportive environment that enhances the overall student experience for students in the School of Health Professions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Engage with prospective, admitted, and current students through a variety of channels including high school visits, community college and university recruitment events, college fairs, informational sessions, campus tours, and individual advising meetings. Provide accurate and timely information regarding School of Health Professions academic programs, admissions requirements, enrollment processes, student support services, and career opportunities.
2. Collaborate with academic programs, university admissions, enrollment management, student affairs, marketing and communications and other campus partners regarding recruitment initiatives, advising processes, student success programs, events, procedures, and policies.
3. Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and admitted students, providing individualized guidance throughout the recruitment, application, admission, and enrollment process while assisting with application review and related administrative processes as appropriate.
4. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive communication plans utilizing email campaigns, newsletters, social media, text messaging, print materials, and other communication platforms to effectively engage prospective, admitted, and current students.
5. Coordinate and support recruitment and enrollment initiatives, including the development of recruitment materials in collaboration with university marketing and communications personnel, recruitment events, open houses, preview days, and outreach activities promoting School of Health Professions programs.
6. Oversee and maintain student recruitment, enrollment, and advising databases and systems. Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to evaluate recruitment and retention efforts, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, career and technical centers, community colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and community partners to expand awareness of and interest in School of Health Professions programs.
8. Coordinate and manage recruitment events and student engagement activities, including campus visits, informational sessions, orientation programs, advising workshops, and prospective student experiences.
9. Provide academic advising and student support services to assist students with academic planning, course selection, program progression, university resources, and strategies for academic success.
10. Coordinate and oversee student-centered programs, events, and initiatives that promote recruitment, retention, engagement, persistence, and student success across the School of Health Professions.
11. Support student leadership, ambassador, peer mentoring, and engagement programs that enhance the student success across the School of Health Professions.
12. Foster collaborative relationships with School of Health Professions faculty, staff, student leaders, alumni, clinical partners, and university stakeholders to strengthen recruitment, advising, retention, and student success efforts.
13. Perform related duties as assigned. Limited decision making in financial responsibilities. This position does not include supervision responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Education, or related field.
Experience:
2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Student Affairs or a related field, and additional years of advising, recruitment, admissions, or student affairs experience beyond the minimum.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
University level recruiting experience and demonstrated success Experience advising at the undergraduate level and above Proficient skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications including Microsoft Word, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and Excel and shared documents or forms Familiarity with usage of Banner and CRM systems such as Slate Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking experience Independent self-starter and team player with strong work ethic Ability to coordinate a wide variety of tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize work functions with attention to details Must be honest, dependable and able to meet deadlines
