Corporate Office: 1724B – 23rd Avenue Meridian, MS 39301

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Project Engineer primarily focused on Water Resource and Wastewater project design. This position is based in our Meridian, MS office. The ideal candidate has three (3) to five (5) years of experience in civil engineering projects focused on utility infrastructure (water & sewer) design, drainage design, storm water management studies, dam design and inspection, flood control and hydraulic analysis/designs.

The candidate will be highly motivated, organized, comfortable working and communicating with clients and enjoys being part of a growing engineering team working in and around Meridian, MS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare contract documents, specifications and drawings for project specific deliverables
  • Prepare project cost estimates and related scope
  • Communication with clients regarding project progression
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Design projects utilizing Auto Cad Civil 3d and other programs (i.e. HEC‑RAS, Hydroflow Hydra graphs, Pipe Networks etc.)

MINIMUM QUalifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Passed the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam;
    Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in the State of Mississippi preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical engineering experience and knowledgeable in the field of water resources / hydrology and wastewater design.
  • Proficient in Auto Cad Civil 3d and other essential programs for design
  • Ability to perform a limited amount of field work, including dam inspections, drainage investigations, topographic surveying, drainage information collection, etc.
  • Experience with technical report writing and working knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Valid driver’s license
