About the Role

Omni Prophis is an engineering and construction firm looking for a DAS Construction Manager to assist with the development, deployment, optimization and maintenance of several 4G/5G network cores and Distributive Antenna System (DAS) installations nationwide. This position is based between Southwest Mississippi and Southeast Louisiana. The DAS Construction Manager provides both leadership and direction to ensure all jobs and tasks are completed to satisfaction and on time.

This includes managing all daily field activities and system performance to ensure that the level of service being provided is acceptable to both the company and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Managing daily activities of installation crews, contractors, and field staff working daily projects Radio Access Network (RAN), fiber, and Distributive Antenna System (DAS) installs.
  • Manage/assist team members and subcontractors across multiple installations.
  • Meet with team members daily via phone, in person and on the job site.
  • Supervise/manage and assist team members and subcontractors with the installation and testing of power, ground, RF coaxial and fiber cables with strict adherence to installation standards.
  • Develop and deliver daily, weekly, monthly reports.
  • Conduct surveys, site walks, audits for internal and external projects.
  • Utilize various software and technology to develop drawings, designs and support documents.
  • Work with executive team to procure materials and equipment.
  • Assist with logistics such as scheduling and inventory management.
  • Conduct training for new personnel and contractors, as needed.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair existing systems, as needed.
  • Meet with client management teams to provide updates on project goals, timelines and challenges.
  • Provide support for invoicing purposes.
  • Maintain project stats through reports and tracking tools.
  • Obtain quotes from subcontractors/vendors.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be able to pass a security clearance.
  • Must be willing and able to travel full-time.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Distributive Antenna Systems (DAS) such as SOLiD and/or Comm Scope.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of RF test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzers, TEMS software, sweep/PIM testers).
  • Must have a solid understanding of wireless networks including modulation techniques (LTE), amplifier/antenna/cable theory, link budgets and propagation tools.
  • Must possess strong leadership, time management and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, open-minded, innovative and capable of working in various environments.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and VISIO. Experience with MS Project a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and physically walk several miles.
