Ideal Software Systems, an innovator in business management systems for 30 years, is looking for a talented Systems Analyst to join its growing team. The Ideal candidate will create and perform procedures for Windows-based products in our Family Entertainment division, as well as research and advise the Development team on new hardware integrations to keep the company’s POS (Point Of Sale), E-Commerce and other products at the head of their markets.

What You’ll Do:

Customer liaison for our product-related technical issues, including new features and custom software requests
Issue resolution and customer escalation
Create design documents for new features
Maintain the document reference library
Create new reports and SQL queries
Train employees and clients on new features
Participate in code and design reviews
Research new hardware devices for integration into our products
Perform light programming tasks as assigned, including prototyping and modeling as well as automated test creation

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or five years of related experience
Experience with SQL, preferably relating to Elevate DB and/or Firebird
Experience in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Knowledge of double-entry accounting
Experience with Ranoex Studio preferred
To be a highly energetic self-starter
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Good oral and written communication skills
