Pedi Care Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an infant in Shubuta, MS.

We currently have night shifts available at $35/hour, along with flexible PRN day shift opportunities. This is a great opportunity for an RN with trach and ventilator experience—or a nurse interested in expanding their pediatric home-care experience—while providing focused, one-on-one care.

Night Shifts

• 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

• $35/hour

• Sunday - Thursday shifts available with Flexible scheduling

PRN Day Shifts

• PRN daytime coverage available

• Flexible shift times based on patient coverage needs

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an infant pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

Clinical needs include:

• Tracheostomy care

• Home ventilator management and monitoring

• Respiratory assessment, airway management, suctioning and other ordered respiratory interventions

• G-tube feedings and care

• Medication administration

• Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

• Assistance with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing respiratory and nursing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management

• Monitor and manage home ventilator support according to physician orders and the plan of care

• Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

• Assist with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Pediatric, private duty, tracheostomy, ventilator, or respiratory-care experience is a plus

$35/HR NIGHTS. ONE-ON-ONE CARE. A SCHEDULE THAT WORKS FOR YOU.
