About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading provider of construction and engineering solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Field Specialist to support project execution and ensure adherence to quality standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.

This role is responsible for overseeing quality planning, inspections, audits, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, engineering, or field quality environments and be passionate about driving quality outcomes across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific quality plans aligned with company and customer standards.

+ Lead the development, validation, and approval process for First-of-Kind (FOK) installations.

+ Conduct field inspections and audits to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

+ Schedule, track, and manage quality inspections at key project milestones (25%, 50%, 75%, Conditional Final, and Final).

+ Identify non-conforming work, document deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions with field leadership.

+ Perform daily field walks to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.

+ Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.

+ Provide training and coaching to field teams on installation methods, testing procedures, and material handling practices.

+ Participate in customer walkthroughs, audits, and quality review meetings.

+ Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and project leadership to resolve quality issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications

+ Experience in a construction, engineering, or field quality control environment.

+ Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection processes, and compliance requirements.

+ Ability to interpret project drawings and specifications.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

+ Ability to manage multiple inspections and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.

+ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Environment

+ Primarily field-based with regular site inspections and interaction with construction teams.

+ Frequent collaboration with project leadership and customers.

+ May require travel to project sites and participation in customer meetings and audits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.07/hr.
