Overview

Performs cashier duties, takes phone orders, restocks shelves, creates balloon bouquets and wraps packages.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Records all transactions and handles all paperwork being processed to the accounting department.
  • Performs inventory counts, restocks shelves, unpacks shipments, makes deliveries and prepares orders for shipment.
  • Conducts over the counter sales of merchandise.
  • Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.
  • Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.
  • Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.
  • Takes phone orders from customers.
  • Writes legibly.
  • Channels communications to appropriate personnel.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
