Duties
* You will plan, develop, direct, coordinate, administer and evaluate TRAWING wide Safety and Occupational Health and ground safety programs to Occupational Safety and Health Act, Department of Defense, and Department of the Navy requirements.
* You will ensure efficient interface of SOH programs throughout the organization to meet command policy, program and mission requirements.

* You will work under the general supervision of the TRAWING ONE Safety Officer.
* You will provide technical guidance, recommendations, and assistance to management and the workforce on established safety methods and techniques.
* You will provide support to the TRAWING ONE Safety Officer in administering the Air Wing's Safety Programs, with primary emphasis on Aviation Safety, Ground/Occupational Health Safety Programs, analyzing safety plans.
* You will provide technical safety training to supervisors and employees using a wide variety of materials, publications, exhibits, protective devices, and visual aids. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license. Qualifications For the GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting surveys of aviation and ground safety operations (e.g., work processes, facility/hanger, equipment, materials) to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions;
investigating and determining causal factors contributing to mishaps or incidents; and preparing safety instructions or guides to educate employees in safe operating practices or techniques. For the GS-9:

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting surveys of aviation or ground safety operations (e.g., work processes, facility/hanger, equipment, materials) to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions;
