Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in Meridian, MS. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and related equipment in commercial and residential settings. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting plumbing issues, performing preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, and ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety standards. The Plumber will collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams, maintain accurate records of work performed, and use company tools and technology to document service activities.

Providing courteous, professional customer service and representing The Service Company’s values on every job site are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of fixtures, water lines, and drainage systems.
• Experience working with various types of pipe, fittings, and related materials in commercial and residential applications.
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance practices and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with clients, and explain work performed and recommendations.
• Relevant trade or vocational training in plumbing; current plumbing license or ability to obtain one in Mississippi preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA safety standards, and best practices for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to job sites, and ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry materials, work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
• Previous experience with building services contractors or in commercial plumbing environments is a plus.
