Construction Estimator

Nexus 5 Group is growing and we need to add an experienced outgoing Estimator to our team!! Our passion is to Serve Well

• Building trusting relationships with all customers. Deepening existing relationships and creating new ones
• Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
• Staying up to date on construction codes and regulations
• Identifying and mitigating potential project risks
• Building preliminary budgets
• Creating and maintaining historic cost database
• Coordinating subcontractor proposals for proper coverage
• Review subcontractor proposals to ensure completeness
• Creating opportunity proposals in the system with amounts and forecast
• Delivering accurate and timely proposals
• Creating initial schedule durations for the stakeholders
• Communicating effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Managing your pipeline by communicating with clients and forecasting accurately

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction projects (preferably multi-family and commercial construction).
• A four-year Bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety standards is essential.
