Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Shawnee Mission, KS

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, including IV therapy and epidural support coordination
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Labor and Delivery specialty experience
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

• Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency protocols
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments

• Opportunity to work in a specialized Labor and Delivery setting with a supportive clinical team
