Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Shawnee Mission, KS

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered and within scope of practice
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Work every other weekend as part of the expected schedule

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification or experience
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with a variety of electronic health record systems

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit with a collaborative care team
• No on-call requirements, allowing for a more predictable schedule
