Responsibilities:
Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with developmental disabilities
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assist with classroom management and organization
Support students with personal care needs, if required
Start Date:
FlexibleSalary: $20.00 per hour
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities, is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse learning needs and styles
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may have challenging behaviors or special needs
- Organizational skills to assist in maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment
