What You’ll Be Doing
Assist the Commercial Markets Group in maintaining the operations of the unit by prioritizing and disseminating information. Create letters and bulletin announcements, maintain unit files, and produce reports as needed. Serve as the sales point of contact for the customer database system.
On Any Given Day, You’ll- Assist sales management to maintain operations of the unit, prioritizing volumes of information and responding to phone or email requests for information, some of a highly confidential nature.
- Create letters and bulletin announcements for the Commercial Markets Group.
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports, providing information to various departments as necessary.
- Maintain files and manuals for the department.
- Provide assistance in periodically updating information in the customer database system and stay current on system upgrades.
- Set up marketing leads in the customer database system.
- Order office supplies and furniture for the Commercial Markets Group as requested.
- Identify demographic coding and perform table maintenance.
- Calculate and submit payment of Affinity Management Fees.
- Assist in the administration of the company vehicle program.
- Issue certificates, loss runs, and premium reports for various Affinity Groups.
- Prior
Experience:
A minimum of two years’ successful related general office experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work for a department or team and as an individual.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A two‑year degree in administrative assistance is highly desirable.

- Strong ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.

- Full knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- High ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Supervisory Responsibility: None.
- Interactions: Extensive interaction with field sales and management staff.
- Additional Explanatory Comments: Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Works both inside and outside in heat, cold, wet, humid, or dry/arid conditions.
Regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
Regularly required to communicate, sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
