Job Requirements

Applications must be submitted by 12:01 a.m., July 13, 2026. The position is located on campus in Wausau, Wisconsin, and is an in‑person role.

The full‑time faculty member supports Northcentral Technical College’s Diesel Technology program by delivering high‑quality instruction and fostering student success. Responsibilities include teaching courses within the program, developing and maintaining course materials, aligning instruction with program objectives and evaluation procedures, and contributing to College initiatives.

• Facilitate student learning through engaging instructional strategies across in‑person, online, hybrid, and out‑of‑classroom activities.
• Mentor students and peers.
• Adhere to the academic calendar, student‑connect hours, teaching assignments, office hours, and conduct classes for the scheduled length of time.
• Assess and evaluate student performance by providing timely feedback and grades; maintain accurate records, attendance, and lab/clinical evaluations in compliance with FERPA.
• Develop and maintain course materials—including outcome summaries, learning plans, Performance Assessment Tasks (PATs), syllabi, and online LMS templates—within approved formats and timelines.
• Select and utilize appropriate learning materials and resources.
