- Welding - Welders tack weld parts in the preliminary stages prior to final or finishing in manual welding bays. Robotic welders load individual pieces into jigs to prepare for auto welding then unload parts as necessary, basic cleaning and finishing to complete part. General work duties: may include changing spool of weld wire, material handling, learn basic blueprint reading and use basic measuring equipment.
- Machining – Machinists are responsible for basic operator duties, this would include load/unload of parts, general deburring, and basic production activities supporting a safe work environment, also the ability to learn under the direction of a mentor, ability to work safely, learn basic blueprint reading, use of basic measuring equipment and ability to learn G&M code.
- Laser/Fabrication - Fabricators are responsible for monitoring basic laser operations, de-skeletonizing material from tables, sorting, inspecting, counting. Other responsibilities include resistance/spot welding operations, limited basic brake form operations with assistance/guidance. Learn basic blueprint reading and use of basic measuring equipment.
- PPS (Paint, Packaging, Shipping) – Paint line Worker - Hanging Parts: parts are brought to area on pallets to be hung on movable beams throughout the dept. Packaging:
Workers remove parts from load bars and hooks to then package with cardboard boxes, foam wrap, plastic wrap or banding. Workers will do cleaning, waste removal and general maintenance in the department. Computer work performed at a standing desk for data entry.
