Manufacturing The purpose of this position is to control the ink inputs to the printing process. The main objective is to deliver “Press Ready” inks to the presses in a way that makes the inks trouble free. Additionally, this position requires strict adherence to all health and safety regulations regarding hazardous waste.

• Receive and inventory inks.
• Perform ink draw down tests to ensure color correctness.
• Adjust ink viscosity’s and strength and stage ready inks for each press.
• Closely manage ink returns and restocking.
• Prepare waste inks and solvents for disposal maintaining proper records.

• Problem Solving:
  Be pro-active in recognizing/defining and resolving problems.
• Communication:
  Utilize effective communication methods through reports and training sessions.
• Planning:
  Prioritize routine tasks, duties and assignments.

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Understanding of how to apply color theory in preparing inks for use.
• Ability to manage ink and solvent inventories.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Prior pre-press experience a plus.
