What You’ll Be Doing

This position is responsible for generating new business through proactive outbound prospecting while also handling inbound leads, referral and customer inquiries. The goal is to build a strong pipeline and close new policies to foster long‑term client relationships. The Inside Sales Representative serves as the first point of contact for all inbound leads, functioning as a critical filter between inside sales and field sales.

This role is responsible for rapid lead response, qualification and triage, ensuring that each prospect is routed to the correct sales motion.

On Any Given Day, You’ll
  • Make outbound calls and emails to targeted prospects, referral partners and lapsed customers to generate new business.
  • Respond to inbound leads from call‑ins, website forms and marketing campaigns within established SLA timelines.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding customer needs, risk and coverage gaps.
  • Meet monthly sales goals for policies written, premium growth and retention.
  • Follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales funnel while partnering with field reps for complex opportunities.
  • Determine appropriate routing.
  • Document all interactions, findings and qualification notes in the CRM with accuracy and timeliness.
Here’s What We Expect
  • High School diploma required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound or inside sales, or customer engagement roles.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to quickly identify customer needs, evaluate qualifications and close opportunities.
  • Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, Hub Spot, etc.).
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple inbound requests.
  • Background supporting a field sales or direct sales organization.
  • Exposure to lead scoring models, inbound marketing funnels or sales enablement tools.
  • Experience in high‑velocity or hybrid B2B sales environments.
