Construction Wireman - Solar

Job Description

This position will include, but is not limited to, material handling, general assembly, panel mounting, and general construction activities related to the construction of a new solar field in central Wisconsin. Daily work activities will include working under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician.

• Ensure a safe job site, maintaining compliance with company safety standards
• Work in a team environment, seeking to understand best practices for quality installations
• Follow specifications and plans for assembly of racking, modules, and electrical panels
• Installation of solar system modules and devices
• Communicate progress of work, delivery, and implementation
• Analyze construction documents effectively for job site knowledge
• Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures and training
• Accurately complete required paperwork

• Valid driver's license – Must be at least 18 years old
• Submit to pre‑employment background and drug testing
• Previous experience with construction or mechanical work (e.g., automotive repair, residential construction, or general assembly) is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills – verbal, written, and listening
• Demonstrate an interest in Electrical or Solar work

• Two pairs Chanel locks
• 5‑in‑1 screwdriver

Monday to Thursday 1st Shift, 4 days/10hrs days – Start times vary; typical is 6:00 AM. Schedule will be dependent on weather.

$16.70 to $41.75 per hour.
