We’re hiring a Flat Bed Driver to join County Materials Corp in Merril, WI.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Flatbed CDL Driver to transport freight using a flatbed tractor‑trailer. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical ability to secure and tarp loads, and strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards. The Flatbed Driver serves as a professional representative of the company at customer locations, ensuring on‑time deliveries, excellent customer service, and safe freight handling.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Perform safe and efficient transportation of goods using flatbed tractor‑trailer equipment
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and site personnel
- Conduct pre‑trip, post‑trip, and in‑route inspections of tractor, trailer, and securement equipment
- Secure and tarp loads properly in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Operate tractor‑trailer combinations in a safe and professional manner
- Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Unload materials using approved methods, including pipe unloaders when required
- Maintain cleanliness and operating condition of assigned tractor and trailer
- Receive dispatch instructions, communicate job status, and report completion of deliveries
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch throughout assigned routes

- Must hold a valid CDL prior to hire.
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
