The Receptionist role creates a positive patient‑centric experience by providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include all reception, secretarial, and clerical aspects of the program, cash collection, and supply ordering. As a receptionist, you partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for residents, contributing directly to the safety and long‑term recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities- Welcomes visitors/patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
- Responsible for cash collection and daily balancing.
- Responsible for all clerical functions, including typing, filing, mail/correspondence flow, and electronic organization of files.
- Responsible for daily phone coverage functions.
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and checking in visitors.
- Coordinate appointments for clients and staff.
- Communicate all relevant information to supervisory staff regarding clients and the facility.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and deposits.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- 1–3 years’ experience in an office setting; experience in the medical field is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Exceptional computer skills.
