POSITION:
Secretary to Athletic Director

PIERCE MIDDLE SCHOOL

SCHEDULE:

8 HOURS PER DAY, School Year Position, 190 Days

7:00AM - 3:00PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Internal applicants must have passed Clerical Basics & Skyward exams

External applicants will be required to pass Clerical Basics and Skyward exams within the probationary period.

Demonstrates ability to work well with staff, students and the public.

Computer knowledge important.

Exhibits pleasant disposition.

Has a positive outlook toward the school corporation and co-workers.

Ability to operate a variety of office machines

Learn and use the computerized athletic scheduler.

Successful interview with Building Principal.

DUTIES:

Type letters, contracts and schedules.

Utilizes computerized athletic scheduler.

Processes student athletic physical forms.

Prepares and duplicates programs for athletic events.

Maintains team rosters.

Confirms schedules with schools.

Assist in bus scheduling and confirmation for events.

Assists in arranging for Merrillville Community School Corporation facilities.

Maintains eligibility list.

Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Building Administration.
